Slingshot uses a Shopify theme app block. You choose where the signup form appears on your product page.

Add the block

  1. In Shopify, go to Online Store → Themes.
  2. Find your published theme and select Customize.
  3. At the top of the theme editor, open a Products template.
  4. In the product information section, select Add block.
  5. In the Apps section, choose Slingshot.
  6. Drag the block to the position you want, usually near the product form or sold-out button.
  7. Select Save.

You can also use Open theme editor from Slingshot’s setup checklist to jump to the appropriate Shopify editor.

Test the block

Preview a product with an unavailable variant. Select that exact variant if the product has several options. The Slingshot signup form should appear.

The block can stay hidden while a variant is in stock. This is expected.

More than one product template

Themes can use different templates for different products. Repeat these steps for every product template that should show Slingshot.

If the block is missing

Confirm you edited the template assigned to the product, saved the theme, and selected an unavailable variant. Then follow Widget does not appear.
